This hotel has a beautiful spot on the lake, great facilities, warm and helpful staff, and a ver good restaurant right on the lake. In addition the restaurant had safe gluten free options for one family member with celiac disease. The breakfast buffet had many tasty options and also offered lakeside dining. We enjoyed a kayak ride on the lake and appreciated kayaks being available at the hotel. It was a delightful stay.

It is right at the lake and the rooms are nice and the food excellent.
The family business appreciate their customers. We were offered a ride to the bus stop since the train wasn’t running. So nice.
This time I chose to stay for my bday.
I was a little disappointed since the hotel did not offer a little surprise: like a dessert or a glass of champagne.
The other things which I like to mention was that the server from the Michelin star restaurant pet a dog from a guest and did not wash her hands before returning to work. I cannot accept this behavior form a Michelin Star Restaurant! Hygiene is priority.
Very nice hotel and the staff is the best. The sundeck was just above the lake. The food for lunch is simpel but very good. The evening restaurant have very nice dishes and beautiful view of the lake. The rooms have a good size and very clean.
Here are pictures of a main course meal I was unfortunate enough to be served in the restaurant at Gardianetto. We were part of a package tour that was based here for 6 nights. We were treated like second class guests and the restaurant offering was awful. No salt or pepper on the tables, tiny portions, dubious food, coffee served without milk, sugar every time. I was that shocked with this main course I took the photographs because I thought no one would believe just how awful it was. Room was dark, dingy, tired. We will never return, I can't believe this is a 4 star hotel.
The Giardinetto surpassed our expectations on every count. Firstly the location right on the lake and wonderful views across the lake our absolutely gorgeous. It is across the lake from sheer wooded mountains that plunge into the lake which look beautiful at every time of day. The hotel has a restaurant , a roof top bar and sun bathing deck that all take full advantage of the view. There is easy access for swimming in the lake and we also rented the hotels canoes and paddle boards which allowed peaceful exploration.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating which gives the feeling of being a special guest.
The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety and taken on the balcony over the lake.
The roof top bar is the epitome of cool- glass panels give a full view of the lake as the sun goes down - and you can enjoy an Aperitivo - and high class ‘snack’ menu. The main restaurant down stairs shared the view and high standard of food. A wonderful experience. We shall return!
