in a beautiful location, right on the edge of the lake. Lovely room, but very cold as the heating was 'hit and miss' my tour manager had to report the problem twice. No instructions on how to switch the heating on, otherwise I could have solved the problem myself. Tea and coffee making facilities were not good! First day OK, but once the tea and coffee were used, there were no further sachets and also no milk, that aspect was very poor The food was OK, but only OK. The staff were great and worked hard. I failed to understand why dogs were allowed in the dining room and were constantly barking.

This is a hotel and restaurant review.
Nice spot on the lakes edge
Hotel is spotlessly clean, although a 4 star hotel as a well travelled traveller I question that.
Rooms somewhat odd. Steps, step down to the balcony, bathroom can be big or small, my towel radiator couldn't be turned on. No instructions for anything, when I needed reception I had to walk down. Tea and coffee sachets are not replenished daily.
Dogs in rooms barking all hours, yes dogs!
Food was somewhat hit and miss.
Staff first class but reception staff can be sharp

A little outdated but well maintained. The rooms are large and spacious, perhaps a little more work could be done on the comfort of the beds, which are however very large. The staff is very nice and friendly, the breakfast is abundant and complete. Parking is convenient. Really nice pool area overlooking the lake, very large and spacious for swimming and enjoying the sun. The hotel is located 2 km from Orta San Giulio, not passable on foot, but only by car because the only connection is the highway. Alternatively, during the day there are two boats that connect the hotel's marina with the town centre. I recommend the hotel restaurant which is very good.

very unloving ambiance. The staff is not very friendly (except for the reception). The room was very small, and I have never seen a smaller TV in a hotel room, see picture. In the corridors the paint is peeling off the walls. The breakfast is also under average. When asked if I could have an egg, the answer was: "the kitchen is still closed".
Do not go to this hotel.

The hotel is quite nice, although its an old building with not much renovation inside.
Our room was quite nice with a comfortable bed.
The bad side was the view, facing the internal yard and the street. Not very nice for a 4 star as there was no privacy, and people could see us inside the room.

The staff is okay, not exceptionally friendly but overall nice.
The swimming pool I think its the best part, well kept and clean.
The inconvenience is the mandatory swimming cup to wear once you are in the water, come on...on a holiday in 2020 who uses that? that should be removed.

The Breakfast is nice, but not many choices available, simple and basic I would say.
I recommend this hotel , but make sure to take a room with lake view.
