We ate here twice during our week in Pella on beautiful Lake Orta. Right on the waterfront, it is perfectly placed for taking one of the ferries that crosses to the island or to the town of Orta San Giulio on the other side. On our arrival evening, we had spaghetti alle vongole (spaghetti with clams) which was absolutely delicious. Even though it was listed as a first course on the menu, we had it as our main dish and it was generously sized. We came back with a friend a few days later for lunch and had pizza, lavishly extending beyond the plate, with big chunks of artichoke decorating the delectable slices of ham. I never thought I'd be able to finish it but it was too good to leave any. As at all the restaurants we went to, there was a two euro cover charge, so big tips are not necessary. The large outdoor terrace, nice service, and delicious food made this restaurant a very pleasant surprise.
