Stayed here in Sept 2018 for a week. B&B comfort double room. Initial fears due to building work nearby and exterior looks were unfounded. It was quiet, non fussy and a great place to go to bed in, after a full day out and about. I would not spend much time actually in it.
Great staff, reception and restaurant. Pleasant room with a comfy bed. We kind of had a sea view :) Bathroom had issues (leaking shower guard) but nothing earth shattering. Room and hotel was kind of 3.5 UK stars overall, breakfast got a full 4 star. Varied plentiful, well presented and tasty.
If you hire a car and don't pay to park there, parking may be a bit of a challenge but I managed to find a slot within a couple of minutes every day.
It is in St Julians Bay, so plenty to see on an evenings walk after eating out. Lots of choice for food. Be warned, Malta isn't that cheap to eat out as you may think.
Roof top pool was small but interesting, not busy and well kept.
If you have not been to Malta before, hire a car. Be brave and go for it, the island is small and you can visit the whole place easily without rush in a week.More
