Situated opposite the train station, this venue has very cramped seating arrangements and adds a 5% surcharge if paying by credit card.

The menu options are standard Thai fare with above average presentation, for eg spring rolls in a glass stuffed with salad. with the sauce in a shot glass on a rectangular plate.

The banquet ( A$32pp), offers 4 starters( spring rolls, coconut crusted deep fried prawns, fired dim sums and money bags. The mains were yellow chicken curry, salt and pepper squid, yellow prawn curry, stir fry vegetables and deep fried snapper. The snapper was fried in the shape of a basket and stuffed with vegetables and sauce. The started prawns and main course squid were both dry and chewy. The rest of the food was passable. The banquet also includes a free soft drink.

I love Thai, I eat a lot of Thai. This is my first time here, and it was nothing above ordinary. The restaurant was crowded and noisy - probably because the one around the corner was closed! The waitress didn't really know the menu and was overly dependent on her tablet to give her info, like was seafood available on some dishes - the hard menu says it is, her tablet says it isn't. Throughout the entire ordering process our waitress doesn't know any answers but continually tapping away at the tablet. At least she is tech savvy. The food was ok and edible, but not the wonderful Thai flavor I get at so many other places. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't yummy.

Pretty good thai restaraunt. It is usually crowded and noisy due to its popularity among locals. The ambience and service is just fine for this type of place. The food is reasonably priced, and the portion size is really generous, especially during lunchtime specials. The Tom Yam soup is amazing. Worth a visit!

I was seated nearest counter where people pick up take-away. All the staff and any customer going to or returning from the toilet went past my seat – I should have charged a toll.
I’m not entirely sure what % of people who walked past my chair bumped into it but I would estimate 80%. It was quite irritating.
The cutlery was unpleasant to use on 2 counts – it has sharp edges and points on end and the knife is of such an unergonomic design that when you try to cut with it the blade rotates 90% to present it’s flat surface to the food. To stop this you need to grip the sharp pointy surfaces even tighter.
On an evening when it was 14deg. outside the front door was open and it was cold 5 tables from the front door.

The food and service were good.
Cost for 2 modest mains, 3 glasses of wine and 1 desert was $71.

Nice decor in the restaurant. The servers are dressed really casual. The food was pretty average, not bad just not special. Good value for money though. Their coconut rice was really good, second best I've ever tasted and I love that they use real coconut shards.
Would probably go back if I'm in the area.
