We visited Le Touquet for a golf break and had planned to dine at Les Deux Moineaux, which we know well. Sadly this was fully booked, but the manager referred us to his recently opened sister restaurant, Les Petites Cocottes. Our faith was fully justified when we found an attractive modern restaurant, and were welcomed by a polite, friendly and most helpful manager. As the name implies, most of the main dishes were served in a small stew pot and each was a delightful surprise. Our favourites were the turbot with a rich sauce and mixed vegetables and the carbonade. The starters were equally tasty and interesting, with both the beef and tuna tartares a speciality. The quality was excellent, and the prices quite reasonable. We would strongly recommend the experience.
