Description: This bustling café in the centre of Le Touquet is part New York diner, and part Parisian bistro. With a brasserie-style ambience and stateside memorabilia on the walls, Le Jean's Café is a fun place to visit whether you're looking for a nice place for lunch, a mid-afternoon glass of wine, or a relaxed place for dinner with something on the menu for everyone. The menu features American -style pizzas and pasta alongside traditional French fare, and you can chow down on anything from garlic snails to sticky barbecued spare ribs. We love the steak served with Bearnaise sauce, provençal herbs and fries, and Jean's signature pizza made with ham, mushrooms, mixed herbs, Gorgonzola and mozzarella cheese.

Jeans is in a great location for meeting friends and family after shopping and exploring the grid of streets that makes up the town.
The attractive interiors and relaxed feel of the place is backed by good food in American style, and wonderful Lavazza coffee!

Our favourite stop for a good cup of coffee, complete with speculoos whilst watching the world go by on rue St Jean.

This place really is so much better that it first appears. You might think it is just the 'American Bar-Diner' it describes itself as. If you want a beer in a bar, I am sure they do that perfectly! What is less obvious is the fabulous wine choice, and excellent food - and far from just diner style. Home made pate was a tasty rustic rillet style, steak was a contra-fillet (or New York Strip I guess), but described as a sirloin. Reality massively outstripped expectation. Goat's cheese salad good as was the vegetable topped pizza. I'd have to say this place under sells itself. Give it a try!

We ate here twice on our recent trip to Le Touquet and the food was excellent. Great service, huge choice on the menu and very good portion sizes. I'd thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
