As two single and related female travellers, we had clearly booked a twin room but were shown into one with only a double bed. On request, a porter brought a fold-down bed and later, on the second request, some bedding - but he had no idea how or where to put sheets on a bed or that a duvet needed some sort of cover.
Breakfast, which we were told started at 7am, had not appeared by 8am and our guide had to chase it up.
There was a ring of black dirt around the tap in the bathroom and a general feeling that the rooms had not been cleaned recently. We began to wonder if this was really a hotel, or a front for something else. Best to avoid it if you value your healthy and general welfare.More
