Katharina and Tarkan are the perfect host-pair, ready to fulfill every wish (even very special ones) of their guests.

We were very amazed at the exquisit as well as the diversfied cuisine. The service of the team is great, they are flexible and have a good service of humour.

The bungalows are very clean, comfortable and spacious. Before each dive, Tarkan gave an illustrate an brlliant briefing with details. His trained staff places great value on safety. The different dive sites are reached by boat which very widely: current/drift diving, discovery divinig, big fish diving...

The barbecue will be unforgettable - a special thank for this evening.

This tiny Island has a unique charme with a spectacular view. We wont to emphasize - even though the journey to Nabucco is timeconsuning - that this Island deserves the surname "Paradise".

We'll be back again!!!!

If sometimes you feel to get ride off everything and everyone, shut off the telephone and stop worry for etiquete and protocols, go to Nabucco.

Their concern is that you are pleased with your underwater experience. This private island is small and pretty in every corner and there is nothing else to do around, just to enjoy the sea views, listen the birds, rest and talk with the staff and managers.

The dive center is managed with professionalism and high standards, even the local guides are well trained and experienced. The manager (foreigner) is flexible to your experience and you can add or adjust the number of divings according to your mood (usually 4/day). If you rent, the equipment is practically new and well maintained. Of course, the diving itself is enjoyable, sometimes with strong currents in certain spots, with many big fishes around (white tail sharks, spotted mantas and manta ray and huge schools of Barracudas).

In our time there we saw large groups diving together, and single ones too. However, it is not recommendable for people that doesn't dive, party people, for the show off or the hyperactive type.

The premises are rustic, eco-friendly and well set up, with good showers, A/C, electricity (24/24) and wi-fi (from time to time), everyplace is quite clean and tidy. The food is plenty at every meal, with a tropical touch and overall a great taste. Don't expect the common amenities at your room, lounge music, neither a TV. If you value the tailor made service, personal attention, privacy and a good diving experience, this is the right place.

Room tip: Sea View Rooms worth the extra cost.

- very, very great islands (Nabucco & Nunakan) - maybe the last, remote paradises
in the world

- top of the hop diving places, they also belong to the best remaining ones of

the world (e.g. Big Fish Country, Jack Point, Manta Cleaning Station etc.) -

absolutely TOP !!!

- Jack Point reminded me about my diving starting (26 years ago) - Maledives

are spoiled meanwhile, so a good idea to go here

- As they are really remote ones, one or two stop overs are a pretty good idea... -

they will have shortly a new airport (something around APR/MAY 2017) then

you can save the boat trip from Berau (3.5 hrs)

- The connectivity is a little bit difficult, but should be improved with the new

airport / antennas

- The people are great, as well as the management on both sites - forget previous

rather bad reviews

- cooking is also great on both islands

- I would always recommend, to consider 3 weeks (from Europe)

Room tip: Just go there and take enough time... ; )

Nabucco gathers everything you need for the perfect break: incredible location out of the Maratua main island, fantastic bedrooms with direct access to the laguna, very friendly atmosphere among customers and staff. Add to that some of the best diving spots in the area with loads of turtles, mantas and colorful corals and you get the perfect holiday gem. Special thanks to Kathrin and Tarkan for the warm welcome and chats. Can't recommend more!

Amazing location and the most friendly staff!!
One of those places you have to see, and preferably with a special person!
If you're into diving and animals, it is a unique place. But even if you just go snorkelling, like we did, you will be blown away by the magical colours of the coral and the beautiful sea-creatures!
