Second time for me at Bedhot Homestay. Don’t miss this hidden paradise, not far from central Yogyakarta. Bedhot, the owner, and his staff are so nice and welcoming :) Traditional javanese style and fine art are combined in this lovely homestay. Bedhot, thanks for everything, see you next time my friend !!

We have been travelling for 2 months around Indonesia and we can say that this homestay has been the best one. The common areas are amazing! The decoration is superb and very confortable to chill. The rooms are cozy and very well decorated.

On the top of that the staff is super friendly and helpful and the owner is the best! Great artiat, very friendly and helpful all the time.

If you visit Yogi, you cannot miss Bedhot homestay!

Having live aboard for long, I always miss Yogya. This time visit, I were lucky to find Bedhot Homestay. Love at first sight, I decided to stay for two weeks. And nothing disappointed me.
The homestay is located in a friendly neighborhood, you can see rice paddy's, a traditional market is just couple minutes walk, transport is not difficult to organize.
There's a lot of nice place to eat nearby.

Javanese style furniture and building is everywhere you can see in this place.
The atmosphere is quite,calm,relax.
All staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
They are all interested in your days.
I were lucky enough given fresh young coconut fruit from their garden by Tio and Ferry. Interesting discussions with Ary,Iwuk,Diana,Ipung, and nice meal from Giovanni. Not forgotten the friendliness, martabak and snacks from the owner mas Bedhot.
I really feel home.
My room was room #1 which is spacious.
Mas Bedhot, the owner, has really good taste of decorating the homestay.
I slept well during my stay, feel relax, calm everytime I entered the room from my outings.
To conclude, this place deserve 5 stars.
And I definitely going back to stay in this place next year.
For me, this place is a place to call home.

Remembering you're traveling to a third world country, where people don't speak English and live in more challenging circumstances? Here you can have a little haven of friendliness, people speak your language and are interested in your day and go out of their way to accomodate your travelling ease. Bantul is hot and dusty, so it's a little different from easy public transport, yet the people are super friendly and if you have Gojek or Uber on your phone, you can catch a taxi or use the local version of a Tuk-tuk and have some fun. There's a good eating area, lots of art created by local and international students and after an adventurous day, good company and aircon to sleep in. The Javanese furniture throughout was the sight that greeted me when I arrived and something I enjoyed visually however the effort the staff made to make you feel at home was most memorable. A great place to stay and incredible value.

Room Tip: Excellent for the price, comfortable, embracing antique furniture style and aircon is a win.* remember earplugs, praying begins 4.30am

Clean and friendly homestay, in a quiet neighborhood, with comfy chairs and a hammock to relax in. The decor is beautiful, the breakfast is tasty, and it's easy to book tours from there. If you're lucky enough to hang out with Bedhot, the owner, your stay will be amazing!
