OK, so if you are looking for 4 star you will not get it at this price. Just home today after a great 8 night stay in Lido Hotel. Stayed in room 507 with fantastic views of the sea, sunrise and beach. Room very clean (cleaned every day, fresh bed linen, towels, toiletries) Staff very helpful with good English. It is old fashioned in its deco but as a base for a holiday it had all we needed. The room had a double bed (very comfy) and single bed. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Try for a front facing room and watch the sunrise.

Inexpensive, clean, hotel in a great location right on the water. Can't beat the views. Our room looked directly out to the water and we woke up to a spectacular sunrise every day. The balcony is great for people watching or feeling the breeze in the evening. This hotel is definitely dated though. Don't expect much in terms of luxury or amenities. The walls have a weird texture, the floors are linoleum, and the sheets are thin. The bathroom was very small and still has those gravity tanks mounted on the wall for the toilet and shower.

There is no safe for locking valuables, so keep that in mind if you have anything you secured when you leave the room. The air conditioning was a little noisy, but if you're not a light sleeper, it's not a problem.

There doesn't seem to be much in terms of luxury hotels in the area, everything is quite dated, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep while you spend your days at the beach, this hotel is more than adequate. Free wifi was a plus!

Clean but basic hotel room in prime position with great views. Would recommend top floor for sea views over to the Mar Menor.
Spacious rooms with efficient aircon. A great spot for a few days on the beach within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants.

2 star with a 5 star heart! Dated but staff very helpful and friendly and room cleaned daily. Front view spectacular - best we've ever had. Beach kiosks all good with cheap food and drinks. Ate twice at hotel Madrid and was excellent, try the chicken, chips and Russian salad! Loved the battered prawns at restaurant Manida and their staff were brilliant.
