We stayed in Galeria for 6 days. The village was very pleasant and the beach was a wonderful sight from a distance.
On closer inspection however there was litter and plastic on the beach shore and on the sea floor there were old tyres, pieces of plastic and metal and other assorted debris.
Surely the local mayor could organise a beach clean up, and it would not be too difficult to remove some of the debris off the sea bed (only about 3 metres deep in most places).
However we loved sunbathing with the local cows on the beach !!
Pebbly beach, but this was not a huge problem.
