Had a great walking tour with Barry. We were staying in Gedera for a couple of days but didn't realise there was so much history. A definite must if you are staying in this area. Barry is extremely knowledgeable and made our 2 hour tour really enjoyable. Great value, would highly recommend.

Very interesting fact, history filled walking tour which tied together the origins of Gedera throughout the last 140 years with continued present day relevance. The details were fascinating.

For those interested is seeing a part of Israel outside of the major cities, this trip was very illuminating. Barry Levinson gives a wonderful and in depth tour of the founders (from the 1800's) of this town. The town is making an effort to document its history and recently renovated their museum. Barry also took us to meet a unique artist who works in scrap and recycled materials, we loved that part of the tour. This trip from Jerusalem was about 45 minutes by bus and not difficult. An opportunity to see a part of real Israel with a fascinating history.
