biking across the wilderness of eastern Portugal I found myself in Mirandela and this hotel commands the view by the road bridge. The staff spoke English at a nice sized room with river view cost peanuts .Food was "ok" - I don't think that's the countries specialty - but plentiful and everything was so inexpensive! Beer as cheap as water at €1.20 a bottle. Outdoor pool nicely heated by the sun and an easy walk over the bridge into town. 2 night with dinner drinks and breakfast was only £100 so enjoy!

Room Tip: river views get the church bell, but is stops before bed time!

We stayed here for one night and it was quite ok. Don't expect anything fancy or out of this world. It's a 3 star hotel. It's a bit old, could use a refurbishment.
However it has free parking, wifi and swimming pool. Also it's in the center of the town.
The room was comfortable and big, with a nice balcony over the river and the town.
The staff was very nice and helpfull. We were allowed to have a late check out without any extra cost (from what I could understand they are flexible with the late check outs, if there are no guests arriving the following day),
Great for short stays, in family or as couple. The pool was very pleasant.

Hello Travellers, This is a good hotel its location is excelent you park the car and go all around by foot, the staff are very helpfull, and kind. The rooms are good confortable and modern, its not luxuous but price/quality is very awsome
You have lots of shopping, drink food, nightlife all very near, in the summer there are some regional partys that are very cool with concerts and lots of fun!
