Beautiful setting plus very convenient for nearby day trips . The hotel and its setting are beautiful all well maintained. Restaurant was trying hard but menu stayed the same fo a week no specials and occasional hiccups with desserts. Staff were however very pleasant and helpful.

We visited Billesley manor for afternoon tea. This is a beautiful place and a lovely place to visit for afternoon tea which was was lovely. Sandwiches and cakes were really fresh and the scones were warm, plenty of cream and jam, more than enough tea and coffee. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.

Stayed for two nights in a Manor House double overlooking the garden .
Check in was quick and easy and we were given our key to our room which was very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed .
Only a few minor complaints which was the lack of water ( only two bottles of Spring water ) would have preferred still and more of it . Also uht milk ( yuk) which is poor for this standard of hotel when there is a fridge in the room where fresh milk could have easily been stored .
The biscuits ( two tiny things ) were pitiful .
Apart from that the room was very nice especially the table and chairs looking out to the lovely gardens .
Sitting outside in the sun was very nice just a shame that on three separate occasions we had to go to the bar to order drinks ( again this standard of hotel should be waiting on their guests ).
Restaurant was excellent and all staff were really nice , professional and friendly . Bar meals aren’t as good regards menu, quality and the fact you are sat at low tables on sofas / armchairs and we ate off a tray which is not a good look in a hotel of this standard . Maybe better tables and chairs where you can actually eat properly . Spa was nice and pool very clean and spacious . Breakfast was good, plenty of choice but as with all menus they were the same every day and would have been nice to have a specials menu each night maybe ??
These are only minor details which didn’t affect our stay but don’t require major change and I am asking now if I can have a proper reply rather than the regular copy and paste replies in previous reviews. I think it’s a bit lazy to read a long review and then not give it the time it deserves .

We have briefed the housekeeping team to ensure water is replaced daily which is our standard and are investigating the UHT milk and biscuits issues noted to improve our standards further,
We now offer guests the choice of dining with bar meals in the restaurant or at lounge tables and are recruiting more team members so we can deliver a better service in all outdoor areas - sorry this service area was lacking on the occasion,
The team will also be looking at introducing daily specials at dinner service to offer a broader offering to all our guests,

Exceptional hotel in beautiful surroundings and very well placed for several tourist attractions. The arrival of a car club on our last evening disturbed the tranquility. Their pre-booked dining arrangements prevented our getting a reasonable time slot . Breakfast on our last morning was crowded and chaotic. We realise that your hospitality business need all the business you can get - we are not complaining but would check what group events you may be expecting, before we book again.
