Had a wonderful stay.
Can't wait to return.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.We felt very relaxed and at ease.
Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the spa but would like to next time.
Loved the tranquility and the history of the house.
It's such a beautiful area and house.

The Hotel was full of Character and very clean, the grounds were very beautiful and well maintained, the staff were very kind and helpful and our dinner was way above expectations. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants a luxury and peaceful break.

What a beautiful hotel, lovely bedrooms, lovely bar area, friendly staff, the food is good and a good menu Not good for the disabled as there is no lift to the bedrooms.
A dog friendly hotel is a plus.

Very enjoyable, but the communal areas (especially the bar lounge) were dominated by corporate groups. This impacted the atmosphere somewhat. To get away from them as best as possible, you have to insist on a room in the Manor House and a table in the main dining room. The food in the evening was absoloutely outstanding.

We had a 2 night stay and had dinner in the restaurant on the first night. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The menu was very limited and what was severed was poor and tasteless.
