Didn’t receive the warmest of welcomes, strange atmosphere felt cold/locals pub?
As a result we didn’t return for a meal.

Having had an excellent meal with my Dad at this place a few weeks ago, the family decided to go back today to celebrate my Dads retirement. There were 8 of us and we all had the roast dinner. Excellent choice of meats, with everything served hot on properly warmed plates, plus piping hot cauliflower cheese served in seperate bowls. The food was beautifully presented and all came out at the same time. The portion size was also very ample. It was one of the best Sunday lunches I have had for a long time, and at £16-£17 was great value. Great beers on tap as well.

What can I say? Haven’t been to the Tilly Raven since it changed hands for a meal. Today. We visited, the meal was outstanding in regards to quality, quantity and presentation. The staff were pleasant and professional at all times and very accommodating. Even when my autistic grandson insisted on tomato pasta, the chef went out of his way to make it for him He even took his time to speak to my grandson after his meal. Food is certainly value for money and I would highly recommend a visit to this pub/restaurant and we will certainly be back in the near future.

We wish to compliment the excellent food and service at our recent visit to The Raven, Tilley. Also we wish to mention the hard working waitress (Imogen) who was very helpful and remained very pleasant despite being under staffed on the night.
