This was the best of our tour of wales , lovely B & B the owners could not do enough for us , helping one of us who had broken her glasses . Offer to pick us up fro the local pub , fantastic breakfast , lovely place with the best views .We were on four motorcycles which can put owners off , but we were welcome with open arms , and our hostess had a sit on the bikes before we left . Just Lovely .

Highfield is one of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. Beautiful tranquil location, every room spotless. Bedroom tasteful with comfy bed and great attention to detail and thoughtful extras supplied. Breakfast choice great and very well presented. My eggs and smoked salmon were delicious - thank you! Highly recommended.

Stayed here for two nights in August with my parents, daughter and brother. The whole experience was extremely pleasant; the host very welcoming and helpful and the rooms were clean and well equipped. The property is in a lovely location with beautiful surrounding views. Breakfast was really well cooked with a generous choice of options. Would be more than happy to stay here again. Oh, and their prize-winning flock of sheep are pretty cute!!

I stayed here for one night with my Mum on a visit to the Golden Valley and Hay on Wye. The B&B has an excellent location and was easy to find - it was less than a ten minute drive to Hay on Wye. We had a very warm and friendly welcome when we arrived which was lovely. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The B&B was in a quiet area which made for a peaceful nights sleep. The bathroom was a really good size and had the best view onto a field full of sheep and lambs - you could spend ages watching them. Our breakfast was delicious and the perfect size too!
