Made a visit on a Thursday Lunch time whilst on a day of shopping. I'm personally a huge fan of La Tasca and have been visiting various branches for many years.
The staff were superb. On arrival, as my partner was in a wheelchair, we were advised we could chose wherever we wanted to sit in order to accommodate her needs.
Once sat, we ordered two blood orange bellinis which were 2 for £9.95. They tasted fantastic.
We used a tastecard for our visit, so ordered off the tapas menu which meant we were able to have 2 for 1 with the cheapest free. I must say, there is a fantastic choice on the menu with dishes to suit everyone.
Our food arrived in a very timely fashion. The smells and looks of the dishes were devine and they all had fantastic flavour, especially the croquetas and the pollo con salsa in an almond and date sauce. Although we loved the flavours, the food went cold very quickly, I'm particular the pigs cheeks and the sauteed mushrooms. Warmed plates would have likely helped stop this from happening, but I don't think the food was heated up enough.
We ordered some hot drinks to finish and enjoyed them also.
Overall, with the tastecard, our bill came to around £33.
Fabulous service and will return despite the food not quite being hot enough in hope this was just an oversight on this occasion.
