I stayed there with my three grown up children for two nights. It is value for money accommodation and it is great for families; kids have their own bedroom and common areas are comfortable.
The premises are fairly new and well maintained. Bedrooms are on the ground floor with the sitting area and kitchen on the upper floor. The balcony has a beautiful view of endless olive trees with the sea at the end. Beautiful sunsets too. Meals on the balcony are a must; simply beautiful. The premises have covered parking too.
From there you can explore the area, Pylos, Navarino, the neighbouring villages or simply walk to the beach. The beach close by is rocky but there are sevaral beaches in the area you can visit. Make sure you visit voidokilia though; it is something between Greece and Thailand! Marathopoli is great for an evening bite by the sea. Totally Greece!
If you want to visit Costa Navarino resort you can only do it after 18:00 and provided you book at one of their restaurants. Alternatively you can go there from the beach, if you do not mind walking a bit.
If you have a car, this is a great place to have as a base for daily trips. If you want to stay put, it is a great place for total relaxation. Finally one important detail: no mosquitos!More
