Hotel is well situated on the main highway into town. There is secure off street parking and there is a large Chedraui Supermarket just across the side street.
If you turn left from the front door you are 200 yds from the Palenque Hotel district so there are many good restaurants nearby. If you turn right from the front door, you are a couple of blocks away from the local markets and dozens of comida economicas and assaderos so it is possible to eat local for cheap.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are very good and the bedding is good quality and in good repair. There are small coffee makers in the rooms, and the rooms are resupplied with a couple of bottles of drinking water daily. There is free wifi that is functional but not superfast. The pool was closed during our visit but that was not a problem for us.
The one negative about this hotel is that breakfast is expensive and not very good. Fortunately there are reasonable offerings within walking distance. Breakfast was not included in our rate so the first day we bought the in house breakfast for $95 pp. the second day we went out spent less and had a much better meal.More
