This is a very nice and secluded property. We stayed here for a week when we were forced to evacuate Tulamben because of volcano activity. We were relieved that it was so nice. There are only about 14 villas many of which line a sidewalk which leads to the restaurant, pool, and then the beach. The villas are spacious and have large bathrooms with a walk-in shower. Part of the roof opens up over the bathroom, which makes an interesting open-air effect. The rooms are clean and tiled in marble.
The food is delicious, and there are many restaurants nearby. The beach is gorgeous and more sandy than rocky, which is typical in Bali. The coral in front of the beach is gorgeous and great for snorkeling or diving. The owner spoke English well and was very congenial. He had over 50 friends and family members staying in his home during the volcano activity.
As a diver, Tulamben was my first choice, but the diving was also great here especially if you are interested in small critters. I highly recommend this resort.More
