The hotel is NOT like a normal Four Seasons I've stayed at (ie: very high end and concentrating on the luxury traveler with a smaller amount of rooms) but rather a reasonably common big 5 star business hotel. It is located in George street down near Circular Quay and is very convenient for transport but currently the road is being dug up right outside for Sydney's (dubious) light rail line so it can be difficult to notice. Fortunately there is a second entrance from the rear that helps with things. This hotel was built in the early 1980's and the exterior is pretty ugly and the interior has much smaller standard room sizes then some of the more modern hotels but it has been renovated and compares very well in service and amenities with most of the better 5 star business hotels (The Conti, Shangi-la etc) very well indeed at a significantly reduced cost. Very good deals can be had at this hotel for club suites in particular at the moment. The service itself is excellent (better then most) and the bedding super comfortable. The showers are a bit so so with the water pressure but nicely appointed. I'd recommend this hotel as a very good and fantastic value 5 star "business" hotel in a excellent location.
