Went here with friends. Good food and a nice cosy atmosphere. Pan fried pork dumplings and squid balls with chilli were great!

Great menu affordable and nice when it is not so crowded so it isn't too noisy. Service is outstanding everything is simple and easy. Whats great is that they have half portions of some ramens so you can order several different types if you're a fan. I had the tsukamen tamen which is the dipping style ramen which was pretty good. If you want an easy quite meal with good food this is it.

Not the best in sydney but it is still very good considering the good price/quality/quantity and its prime location in CBD.
I tried the chicken katsu ramen. The chicken katsu was placed on a separate dish to prevent the batter from getting soggy in the broth. The broth is flavoursome and ramen all dante. The chicken katsu was slightly oily as there was a small pool of oil left on the dish, and left a greasy sort of feeling in my mouth.

Walking into the restaurant was like walking into a restaurant in Osaka, Tokyo or any other city in Japan they even had iPad menus. The service was typically Japanese, very polite, friendly and efficient. The menu selection was very good, gyoza and lotus chips were excellent and the ramen was so delicious-oishi.

Even the entry - a door, up a stair to a small landing, open door on left - was like many of the little places you find in Japan. iPad menu, sparse but adequate furniture, complimentary self serve cold water or cold barley tea at the counter.
When the food came out, first bite reminded me of home (Japan). Not classical Japanese, but the way you would do it at home with a bit of creativity.
Great little Izakaya (like tapas) menu as well as a variety of ramen (noodles) and is licensed, so would be great for get together drinks with friends, workmates or fellow students. I think the students have already discovered this place.
