The paella was a tad too salty. However, i liked the degree to which it was cooked, so you had plenty of that nice crunchy and chewy rice at the bottom of the dish. The servings were generous in terms of the paella. The tapas were mostly good. The chorizo was a bit too tough, and the sauce once again too salty.

The service was prompt and good.

We went to Turumbar at the Spanish Club Restaurant for casual dining on a Friday night. There was a good selection of Tapas and Spanish main courses, Spanish beer and a good wine list, all reasonably priced. The restaurant is on the first floor above the ground floor bar. The ambience is old world spanish with high ceilings and large timber beams. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good and all round a good casual eating experience.

We were looking for tapas in Liverpool Street Sydney withoput the bustle of the street. The restaurant does not look much situated above the bar of the Spanish club. However once upstairs the comparative quite was a relief from the bustle of the street. The waiting staff are friendly and Spanish which is a plus. The tapas are excellent, wine list is limited but with reasonable quality. Prices are comparable with the restaurants around them. Would definitely return

Amazing tapas at very reasonable prices and large serves - make sure you are very hungry when you go here. Also a great place to practice your Spanish and after eating upstairs, you might be lucky to catch a flamenco evening downstairs!

We ate here for the first time in July.
Good food, great service. What more can I say.Oh yes, they were having a Flamenco night the next day, but my two 15yr old teenagers didn't want to go back in case I joined in!
