Marg and Alf were wonderful hosts who picked us up from town and took us to get our dinner! Their house was immaculate, the beds comfortable and the breakfast was full of choice and more than we could eat! They also gave us some good tips for our trip up to Darwin. Walked round the corner to school off the air, then the dice us to pick up our hire car! Highly recommend

we recently stayed at a Good Rest B&B, but never again, not good value for our money, not very welcoming, and my husband stood in dog piss. we felt the $250 per room was a little expensive. and didn't feel comfortable with the dogs
I stayed at "A Good Rest B&B" in Alice Spring and the hosts Margaret and Alf were a very warm and welcoming couple who could not do enough for their guests. They helped me out in a particular difficult situation as I had booked the wrong dates. Fortunately however they managed to accommodate me. I was extremely comfortable and the B&B felt like a home away from home. The place was extremely clean and breakfasts delicious and plentiful. In the evenings I enjoyed a drink with Margaret and Alf and felt part of the family. I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Australia's Great Centre.

Alf is a wonderful story teller - ask him about his “ Cyclone Tracy “ experience.
They shared their nice bottle of Red wine, fed us and other guests pizzas and most of all we felt like home .
We were also invited to baby sit their residence when they go on holidays.

A lovely, homely place to stay. The perfect place to rest and recuperate in the warm, dry climate.
Margaret and Alf are great hosts who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They love a wine and a chat. I felt like I was staying with old friends.
Their dogs are gorgeous and always up for a pat or scratch (or cuddle if you’re lucky).
My mum and I stayed in the villa. It was perfectly clean and had all the amenities needed.
Hopefully I’ll be back soon with my hubby.
