Stayed at this hotel after a number of nights ‘roughing it’, it seemed like luxury .
Rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable although the bathrooms were a bit tired.
Location was great, as far enough away from the centre to be quiet but close enough for ease of access
Security was good too with off street parking for vans and trailers tooMore

Management lied about my last review saying accommodation only for small to medium dogs? Lied about knowledge of police coming after my car got broken into. And lied about my pets urinating on the bed. (If they had to throw our a mattress...I'm sure they would of charged me more than $100? They said this was for cleaning fee for pet hair. Comfortable stay... But don't leave nothing in your car. And if anything goes wrong or your pets are bigger than a mouse... expect extra charges... Very rude female at reception. Never will forget or stay there again.
Only stayed one night. Check in was very easy and quick, room was very clean. Hotel is just out of town, in a very quiet location. Only a couple minutes to drive into town.
Currently has no restaurant, which you are advised at check in.
It is very family and pet friendly.
Has a beautiful pool, however it is at the very back of the complex and as I was travelling alone, I didn't feel comfortable not being within earshot if something happens.

Kids loved the pool and play area — and so did the big kids !! The area is quiet and yet still close enough to town that you could walk if you really wanted to ! Staff were great and always helpful ! Nice little place to stay

Alice in the Territory was a welcome respite from 40+ degree heat with it's icy cold aircondioning. Covers over the furniture and bowls supplied for my furbabies, ground floor so my boys had access to the grass for their 'business'. This motel is truly pet friendly. Highly recommended.

My car got broken into. Police says it happens all the time at this place? They said pet friendly...but complained about my dogs hair and charged me an extra $100 and said the linen had to be thrown out?? (Pet friendly??) Couch cover was an old fitted sheet. Manager very rude on booking. And was no help with police when my car was broken into.

We are a pet friendly property but only for small to medium dogs and the manager did mention to you that your dogs were too large to stay, but as it was 44 degrees and getting late she let you stay seeing you were leaving at 5am the next morning.
The manager was the person who went to your room to let you know that your car window had been smashed and noticed what looked like a bag and luggage in the car. While we are extremely sorry that this unfortunate event happened to you, we do advise via signage around the car park and property, not to leave any valuables in your car.
Our manager did offer to stay with you and call the police but you walked away and didn't mention to her that you were calling them yourself, so she was unable to help when they arrived as she didn't know they were coming.
When housekeeping cleaned the room, they noticed that one of the dogs had urinated on the corner of the bed. They took photos and we charged you $100 as the mattress had to be thrown out and replaced.
