Such a gem as a hostel, I've travelling around Australia for a few weeks and stayed in a few different hostels but this one was by far the best one. Seb, who checked me in, couldn't have been nicer and showed me around the property. The pool looked so inviting unfortunately the weather was pretty bad so no swimming for me. I booked the 4 day Mulgas tour with them and it was so easy. They provided me with the sleeping bag and fly net and when dropped off you get a free night in the hostel, your luggage is stored with them as well so it was all very easy. Rooms were really clean and so were the toilets and showers, I was scared to find some spiders as it was outdoors but couldn't even find a cobweb!

For some reason the people staying in this hostel were more social than any other hostel I stayed in so my guess it's the hostel bringing out the best in people . And location is pretty good as well so if you are planning to stay in Alice Springs in a hostel, there is only one place you need to look at and book and it's this one!

Absolutely fantastic backpacker hostel. Clean, friendly, and able to coordinate tours all over the Red Centre! They really do make the place feel like the perfect get away and rest stop out in the desert.

I don't write many reviews, but this service must be appreciated. The whole accommodation is very lovingly decorated and all facilities are in top condition (e.g. the shower has the largest water power I have seen on my trip through the north & middle of Australia). Seb is very concerned about the well-being of his guests and takes a lot of time to explain "what is where to see/do". Even if you have questions about other regions of Australia - Seb immediately has a program ready, what you can/should do where. In addition, the focus is clearly not on profit, but on the maximum enjoyment of the guests: instead of e.g. simply booking me an extra night (as requested by me) Seb lent me a tent for West MacDonnell NP, so that I can stay there & have more of the park (and at the same time forego additional income). Just great, thanks for everything!

Fantastic place to stay. Walking distance to local amenities. Most tours pickup/drop off from the hostel or the hotel a few metres around the corner.

The hostel were really helpful recommending and booking tours for me. I booked the Mulgas tour through them which was great fun.

The hostel was really friendly, plenty of people to talk to and eat meals with. As a solo traveller this is something that I really value at a hostel.

The garden was a lovely place to chill out - pool, hammocks, sun beds and benches.

I did find the push bikes a little expensive to hire - so I’d recommend planning a full day with them to get the best value for money.
