Arrived to a friendly warm welcome by reception. Yummy cookie too 👏🏻👏🏻
Drinks voucher for each day and free parking too as part of the luxury escapes package.
Hotel is very clean spacious and relaxing.
Our room was a good size very clean with an outlook over the water.
Breakfast had an ample selection.
Sitting outside by the pool very relaxing.
The pool is a welcome relief from the heat and is a nice size too.
Definitely deserving of a 5/5

We stayed 4 nights at Doubletree Hilton Darwin and found it great. We then spent 2 days and a night at Kakadu. We returned to the hotel at 8:00pm for 2 remaining nights to be told we were being bumped to the lesser Garden Inn next door. No explanation or refund. Very insulting and disappointing. We have since met another couple who had the same experience. They evidently do it often. Beware!

Recently had 2 separate stays at The Double Tree by Hilton both before and after a short trip to Kakadu and Arnhem Land.
On both occasions we booked breakfast as well and the facilities and location in Darwin left nothing to be desired.
The rooms were comfortable, meals great and the bar near the pool was a great facility to sit and unwind at with our friends.
Only a short walk to many bars and restaurants Mitchell Street and close to one of the hop on hop off bus stops.
Had stayed here previously before covid and will certainly be back one day.
Laundry facilities also are easy to use.

Have had a glorious six nights at the Doubletree. Staff customer service has been consistently excellent - from housekeeping to restaurant manager - particularly the breakfast manager.
The pool is large, well maintained and there are lots of sun loungers and some shady spots. Breakfast has a wide selection of options but nothing wow. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Beds comfy. The hotel is in need of an external refresh as it looks very tired. A window clean would also be helpful to enjoy the fabulous view a little more.

Stayed 3 nights at the Double Tree by Hilton - Esplanade after seeing a deal on Luxury Escapes (which included a drink, welcome cookie, parking & buffet breakfast)
The reviews weren’t amazing but for the price, we thought we’d give it a go ($850 for 3 nights in a King Guest Room)
Couple from Melbourne in our early 30s.
Hotel was FANTASTIC!!!
The room was spotless, bathrooms newly renovated & beautiful, the bed very comfortable.
Buffet breakfast was EXCELLENT! So much variety and fresh food!
The staff were all so lovely!
The pool & surrounds was awesome - a little bit of work happening while we were there but apart from that, an awesome place to hang in the afternoon.
The location is great - very close to Mitchell Street. Short scooter ride down to the Waterfront.
The exterior of the hotel probably needs a spruce but the interior is excellent.
Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.
For comparison - for our last 2 nights we stayed at Mindil Beach ($500 a night) and would NOT recommend it! Would stay at this hotel every single time!
