Our lunch choice of a mixed platter of sushi/sashimi was exquisite. We sat at the kitchen bar for a nice lunch and were not disappointed. The service is a standout.

We enjoyed one of their private rooms as we were celebrating a birthday. You can request these at the time of booking however they won't guarantee you'll get one. The service was a little 'cool', perhaps not as friendly as my previous visits. With a recent change in ownership the menu's been paired back but there are still plenty of hot & cold options to choose from. We enjoyed a raft of small share plates. It's not cheap eats but a fun evening for a celebration.

Four of us ate at Sake on a busy Friday night. No reservations but the hostess gave us a private room if we were OK to pay a 10% surcharge.

We ate sashimi platter, gyoza, kingfisher sashimi and drank warm sake. All the food was very good. The service was relatively fast and above average friendly for Australia (where service is generally poor by any international standard)

We'd go back again.

The food at Sake is very fresh and tasty. Pity each plate didn't have a bit more on it.
The atmosphere is really nice but a little dark at the table we were at.

This restaurant was recommended to us and whilst the service was great the food was disappointing and the wine overpriced. The main courses we selected were lacking in flavour. The sashimi was tasty and fresh however overpriced.
