Friday night is the time to go for the chefs special at $12.50. This might be roast pork with crackling and the trimmings, or pasta. First Friday of the month there's half price drinks plus live music and free raffle tickets for bar tabs, wine, dinner vouchers or meat trays. Other days there is a limited menu at mid range prices. Enjoy barefoot bowls, lots of fun and a cheap night out.

Popped in here for a look and a quick flutter on the game machines. Very small club with nothing much going on. When we were there meals weren't being served but have looked at the menu online and it looks great. Will be in Brisbane in July so will definitely have as meal there.

I visited with wotk colleagues on a Friday night. The drinks are well priced and the service was friendly. It is a bit run down. The night yime bowls is a lot of fun. The food is a case of you get what ypu pay for and is at the standard I would expect from a bowls club.

If you are looking for something more stylish try Merthyr Bowls but if you are looking for a friendly well priced inner city bowls club this is for you!

I drove three hours to attend a private event beheld here. Very long and de stressing story short. Their cafe has no procedures in place that are customer friendly eg: cash only, food brought to the table but if you want cutlery you need to go down to cafe and get it yourself. Owner doubles as the rudest waitress I have ever come across and when you pull her up on her behaviour she releases a tirade of abuse from extreme verbal to boarder line physical! This place is at the top of my top 10 of most horrific social outings in my 42 years. Several other people in my party had terrible experiences and we witnessed several other patrons face difficulties with either the service or service procedures/s

This place is awesome. Cheap drinks, beautiful setting and friendly people all around. I have been to a few functions here (birthdays, bucks and work xmas parties) and have had an absolute blast every time.
The food is fantastic and staff super friendly. It is a bowling club, NOT a cocktail bar, so if you want a place to go for a few hours to chill and have a few drinks, with the added bonus of playing a great sport, this is the place for you.
