Overall we enjoyed this 2 night package with breakfasts. The first night we both slept terribly due to faulty airconditioning. The lady who I took the issue to was helpful and got the engineer to fix it, however no apology or reparations for the bad night. Also, our room wasn't made up after we returned to it after being away from it for 4 hours from 9:30am- again, fixed but no apologies!! It all adds up after a terrible sleep. The highlight was the buffet breakfasts and the service by all of those staff.

The staff were amazing from the greeting at the concierge desk to check in to departure making for a really good experience. The breakfast had a good range of options for all tastes, my only small negative would be the additional charge for barista coffee when you pay for breakfast, first hotel I've encountered in a while who still does this. The rooms are a good size and well fit out, will definitely look to visit again should I be back in Brisbane.

Location:
This property is centrally located in the pedestrian area of Brisbane. It has a convenient valet parking with direct lifts to the lobby which is on the 6th floor.

Checkin/Service:
We stayed at this property twice this week. The service was consistently well above average and I would rate it as one of the best in Australia. Although the property is not the newest the staff are very well trained, friendly and accommodating. Upon return from a walk they provide you water when you re-enter the hotel. Breakfast service is very good and so is the loung service on the 25th floor.

Rooms:
The rooms feature nice city views. They hotel has been around many years but the rooms are well kept and maintened and feature coffee machines and a comfortable working area.

Breakfast/Restaurant:
The breakfast is very nice and the buffet is well refreshed. The egg kitchen provides fresh dishes on demand and the barrister coffe is freshly brewed.

Very enjoyable & comfortable hotel to stay at. Unbeatable location on Queen St Mall. Iconic and really interesting atrium lobby designed by renowned Austrian-Australian architect Harry Seidler. Excellent professional service across the hotel in every department. Lovely pool area. All in all a really great stay in the heart of Brisbane : )

Rooms are very spacious, feel very quiet and private. Room service was very prompt and delicious. Some other reviews mention the rooms are becoming dated... While the style is a little dated my Deluxe room was very well maintained and really comfortable and pleasing.

My only critical remarks are about the technology.... TV and interface are pretty basic for this day and age. No Chromecast or the likes. The interface was very clunky and slow. No easy accessible power points by the bed was also a little annoying (plenty near desk). HVAC unit was also pretty loud by more modern standards.

Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and I really like the atrium and private feeling walkways to the room : ) Highly recommended : )

My mum and sister arrived at Brisbane airport from London at midnight and needed accommodation for the night. The airport hotels were booked out so I rang the Hilton. Half way through booking the call disconnected. I rang back and the guy who answered couldn't take reservations and said someone would call back. They never did.

I told my sister to jump in a cab and head there and hopefully I'd get a call back. At least we knew they had rooms. Sister arrived and the Hilton would not allow them to check in. They had rooms but wouldn't take a walk in.

Even after my sister explained the story they couldn't check in. They ended up at the TreasuryCasino where they were well looked after. I am still apauled by this :( Not what I'd expect of a Hilton. I rang to speak to a manger this morning but no surprises they were not available. Please call back later
