The Treasury hotel is a stately convenient located hotel with a difference. Constructed
In the early 1900's, it's architecture is superb and the rooms are very large with very high ceilings . The classic furniture complements the rooms archeticture.
Staff service was exceptional.
The hotel is adjacent to the Brisbane river and fronts a large park separating the hotel from the casino. Southbank is a short walk over the bridge and Brisbane CBD shopping is a 5 minute walk.

Room Tip: Double glazing provides quietness for these very large quality rooms.

The hotel was nostalgic n quite similar to the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore. A government building (colonial architecture) turned into a luxury hotel. The casino is house in another building across the road. Near the water front. Tourist attraction like ferries wheel-10 mins away. Walking distance to queen street mall n many other eateries, food n park. Ideal location. The staff at check out n concierge were most helpful. Valet parking available in basement secure carpark. The room was very spacious with many 'old' feel of the building before it was a hotel. Wide walkways n everything is well stocked. Did not visit the casino though. But stay was comfortable n quiet. Complimentary hot DIY beverages. Room service was prompt. Staff very helpful n personal. We feel very good at this hotel. Strongly recommend you try it.

Played poker and craps. The poker game take was 10% up to 15! Which is annoying but pretty standard in Australia. Had a good time though. Met some locals and had a really good time. Place has small floors and was difficult to find the poker room because I never saw a sign.

Great location- close to shops, entertainment and attractions. Friendly staff, valet parking was convenient. Room was very spacious and clean. Quiet despite the central location. Bed was very comfortable however, because room had high ceilings, the air conditioner was inadequate to maintain a constant cool temperature overnight. Food was delicious and the complimentary newspaper in the morning was a nice touch. Very pleasant stay, will definitely book there again.
