The Emporium Hotel in the Fortitude Valley was a great place to meet people and do business. The facilities available close at hand were enjoyable. It is not a hard walk into Brisbane Queens Street. The pool and gym facilities are adequate. The whole experience was well worth the time.

This hotel has been a popular choice for several years on the Brisbane scene and it's great to know that is still a great place to stay. Rooms are lovely, quite and clean. Staff are polite and helpful. Location is fabulous and the pool deck is a treat. Highly recommend for the business and holiday traveller. Free wifi. Only a small thing, the TV is a bit dated

To stay just out of the CBD is more relaxing. It has the home centre and lots of boutique stores to browse. The rooms are amazingly large with the best facilities. The staff are just wonderful. Very knowledgable about restaurants and services around the area. All staff are very polite.

All in all an OK hotel. Was let down by an over officious barman and the fact that the room I was in didn't have windows that could be opened. The decor of the hotel is pretty full on (very red) but the room itself was a good size and had a decent turn down service. Over priced in my view but well positioned in Fortitude Valley with plenty of options for food and drink nearby
