This place had a solid selection of food choices. If you order the fish and chips I would recommend the Spanish Mackerel, it had a good taste and was not fishy or oily.

Along with Salsa Bar the best restaurant in Port Douglas. Seafood meals are the way to go - we had barramundi and coral trout and both dishes were outstanding

Shared a number of entrees with a small group of friends. Each dish was delicious... from the pork belly to the asian salad.

We love our seafood and when the reviews tell you this place is the best in town you expect it to be good. Now I am only speaking on behalf of the seafood Platter with Mud Crab. The prawns were a bit tasteless and for the price it was and a bit shy on quantity of food for the plate, the Mud crab was very nice. My main issue was the hastiness of the service when you are spending nearly $200 on a meal (not including drinks or desert) you should be able to sit back, relax and enjoy it, the whole time we were there it felt rushed even when we finished they couldn't put the bill on the table quick enough. the worst part was the staff actually asked me for a tip, I wasn't even just allowed to choose if they were worthy.

Went all the way to Australia to have a waiter from Wisconsin, but he was awesome from beginning to end. The food from the start was simply delicious with excellent presentation. Appetizers of tuna carpaccio, fried calamari (very light) and fresh prawns all hit the spot and started the meal off right. We chose our mud crab from the tank and took pictures while it was alive, and then took more pics when it was cooked and on a plate. Buttery sweet and may be the best crab I've ever had. Crusted barramundi was also wonderfully prepared. Even my son who shuns seafood strayed from his usual Mac and cheese to try the Tasmanian steak. It came out perfectly done and he devoured it. The recommended dessert was a sundae with vanilla ice cream and a Mars bar melted on top. Once you got past the Mars part it was just vanilla ice cream and just okay. But all in all it was one of the top 3 meals I had in Australia over 3 weeks and would definitely go there again. If you're in Port Douglas just go...you won't be disappointed.
