I agree with the review below.
I probably should have asked but I did not think a Champagne sauce would be creamy. I make a Champagne sauce at home without the need for cream.
I tried to scrape off as much as I could as I actually can't eat dairy.
The wait staff actually didn't ask if all was ok, and at the till they asked the men after me but not me.
The other issue was my meal arrived before my wine. I was told the bar was busy. The restaurant was about 1/3 full and there were plenty of staff. Looking around every other table received their drinks first.
I think my order was forgotten or misplaced.
It would have been nice to have had a chance to relax over a wine before getting my meal.
The asparagus were cooked perfectly and tasted good once the cream was wiped away.
