The One is certainly just that....The One!!!

Chris & Judy (The Ones' Managers) are the warmest , friendliest managers of anywhere we've stayed on the Gold Coast (in fact, anywhere in the world!) They have great local knowledge, up for a chat & are a credit to the complex.

We were holidaying with another family and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay!
After initially staying out of the "main strip" we decided to move and spend the last week of our holiday closer to the action! The One was perfect! Right on the southern end of The Esplanade in Surfers.

We stayed in room 39b (our friends were in 38) which was a 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment on the 14th floor. The views were 2nd to none, a perfect vantage point to watch The Esplanade, the beach and the surrounding area's coastline!

Both bedrooms had amazing views (the main bedroom had a great nightime view of the city) and even a gorgeous view from the loo! We had comfy leather lounges, a lcd flat screen WITH full Foxtel (not just a few channels already programmed in to the tele) great for kids and sports nuts alike (hubby loved SkyRacing!)
The kitchen had all the mod cons, the fridge with ice maker & water dispenser was very handy to top up the cocktails and make the kids drink more water! Everything was there that we needed! The laundry facilities were also great (located in the main bathroom)

Sitting out on our balcony at any time of the day or night, we could hear hardly any car or people noise, just the roar of the ocean. Its a VERY deceptively quiet spot. Great views of early morning surfers and a great night time view of the Q1 (down the street)

BBQ area and pool were gorgeous with a private gate leading straight on to the beach (complete with outdoor shower upon return) Very very secure premises which was great. Even provided us with luggage trolley to take all our bags up the elevators to our room. Everything has been thought of at The One.
Beds were really comfy, shower pressure and height were great (for us tall people). Lounges comfy, tv reception perfect, beautifully clean, great wifi reception (user pays system unless you have 3G)

I think I could probably go on and on, but we are fussy travelers and we were NOT disappointed. Will definitely return and will be highly recommending The One to all family and friends for their GC accom!

Thanks Chris & Judy! :-)

Room Tip: Our room 39b was on the city side (no morning sun) gorgeous night views and still had amazing unobstructed sea views, was just perfect! Our friends were in 38, more sea views, less city views (full morning sun) If you like a sleep in, go for 39b for sure!

One the Esplanade is the only place to stay in Surfers Paradise. It's close enough to Cavill Ave (400M) that you don't miss any of the action but far enough away that you can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep or glass of wine on the balcony. We have stayed at several hotels around Cavill ave and the noise of constant construction works and nightclubs can be very distracting. With private access to the beach and an outdoor shower, you only have to walk 50m to get back to your room. If the beach is too windy, the sheltered pool is a perfect alternative, yet you still have the beach view! Speaking of view there is no better view than the view from the balcony. Completely uninterrupted by other buildings. The building is a fantastic reflection of the lovely managers Chris & Judy, they were extremely accomodating and went out of their way to make our after hours arrival as easy as possible! Will be the only place I stay when visiting the Gold Coast

One the Esplanade is a luxury. I regard it as a treat. Located on the beach, it fulfills everything you are after! The rooms are great; people friendly and helfpul; there is a well maintained pool and garden area at your fingertips; and I haven't even mentioned a ocean at your doorstep. It is a unique location and holiday destination.

My brother, mother and I had a wonderful stay at One The Esplanade. The apartment we stayed in, apartment #22, was well equipped and had an incredible view of the beach and the esplanade. However, the most commendable thing of our stay was the front desk. Chris and Judy were spectacular. They helped us cancel a booking and even rang the cab company when i left my phone in a taxi! Best bang for your buck in all of Surfer's Paradise. Highly recommended. -Armand

Views, location, nearby amenities, about 50m from the ocean.
We will be staying again.

The twin matresses were a bit soft for us, and the beds not too rigid, and the queen matress in the main room was a bit hard for those guests, but overall, I would still stay again - even in the exact same room.

Considering price, interior, view, location, management, this is probably one of the best choices we can make.
