My stay at this hotel was more than adequate. We received good service from the staff and our room was clean and serviced. We were on my on level 2 and looking at the Marriotts service entry or something. Pool towels are charged for, and if you don’t want to park on the street you have to pay $15 per day for valet parking. There was a microwave, kettle and toaster in the room along with a dishwasher but the fridge was a bar fridge and did not hold a lot of stuff, thankfully we were only staying 2 nights and ordered uber eats most of the nights, although they did have a well stocked array of snack items available for purchase downstairs as well as a restaurant. No idea on pricing as we did not use these services.
It is within walking distance of Cavill ave and lots of activities however in the heat of the day the walk is not very pleasant. There is also a tram close by so you are able to go as far as broadbeach as well without driving.
Bed was comfy, not exquisite but it did the job and the air con was most definitely welcome after being out in the sun.
The pool was lovely to relax by as well.
I would not have wanted to pay more to stay at this hotel than I did however.

My experience with the Alpha Sovereign Surfers Paradise can be characterized by two words, rude staff. Not only were the staff on the front desk unwilling they were also unable to help, explaining incorrectly their bond policy- which two weeks later we are still in dispute about.

Décor is sad and overall feel is depressing. Also reasonably expensive.

Delighted with our stays there. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

We got there by tram, just 5 minutes walk with the stop. Be ware the entrance is at 'the back', not on the main street.

The place is not new but small renovation would make it perfect.

They allowed to store our luggages hours before checking in. My room was quiet, nice sized and it even has a kitchen.

Gym, game room, swimming pool, spa, sauna and restaurant are there too.

Our complementary buffet breakfast was reasonably good. Abundance in supply and rich in variety.

We paid $170 a night during the Christmas period.

Came here for 1 night, most of the staff are lovely while others can be quite snappy. The pool was lovely to sit beside with the refreshing sound of the waterfall. The inside of the room was average. The view from our room was not great it was overlooking so factory of some kind. The furnishings in the room were pretty standard for a hotel but the bathroom let it down as it was outdated and gross.

Very expensive motel! Outdated facilities. Needs a very big overhaul for us to even consider going back. Uncomfortable bed. Old bathroom needing renos. Nice pool but for the price, next time we'll be staying at the Marriott next door. It might be abit more expensive but at least you get quality and luxury. Wouldn't recommend the Alpha Soverign!
