Well we went to this place as "best Pastel in Gold Coast".
Sorry but that isnt ever close of "ok".
our order takes 45minutes+, what was complete unacceptable.

After we already waiting 30minutes+, we decided to ask what happened. So them we knew they didnt have the filling for our order and needed to get more.
So why didn't tell straightway when they checked?
Also coxinha wasnt good.
So our experience weren't good.
So that was the reason of disappointment.
But that is ok.
take this review as a point to make better.

The best restaurant with brazilian food in GC.
Really good for who study at Langports, it's really close, like 2 minutes walking.
Love the parmegiana and the churros.
They also sell brazlian soda ( guarana) and some candys like paçoca.

Accidentally found Pastel and Surf today while wandering around the Gold Coast. They are small operation and tucked away off one of the main streets and and could be overlooked. My Heart Skipped a beat when I saw the green Guarana soft drink can and realized this was a little bit of Brazil on the Gold Coast. I noticed a lot of the clientele Are Brazilian Tourists or expats and I would LOVE to see more Aussies trying it out. I only had the Cheese Pastel, and a Coxinha. Both were the real deal and worth the price. The most expensive meal I can see on the menu is $18 and the cheapest appetizer $3.50. Strongly urge people to give this place a try, especially anyone who has not tried any Brazillian foods before. Didn't have the time or appetite to try a meal there today, but already planning to when I next visit the Gold Coast!

Sorry guys! I loved to come here. It was a good value for money. But since you increased the prices it is not worth it anymore! Surfers and Broadbeach you can find really good meals for $10. Also you need to work on your consistency. Sometimes the beans have been served with bacon sometimes not. Sometimes you get a tiny bit of chips, sometimes its huge. Also lack of acknowledging customer. I rather go to the turkish shop and buy a lamb or steak platter.

Great place to eat brazilian food in Surfers, the food is quite good and has a reasonable price. If you go there try the Prato Feito (PF) or the Pastel, like the name of thre restaurant
