Well the interior of this joint is one-of-a-kind. Love what you’ve done with the place folks, felt like I was in a legitimate saloon.
My colleague and I were seated in a nice big booth and we jumped straight into a few passionfruit mocktails (*was doing Dry July at the time), needless to say these were delicious and I polished off mine before the entrees hit the woodwork!
The jalapeño poppers we received were a bit unusual, I’m used to a more bread crumb type texture, these felt like glorified spring rolls, however they packed all that flavour and spice you expect. We ordered a chicken nachos with the chicken on the side however a clerical error from the waitress saw the nachos arrive at the table with the chicken embedded in the nachos mountain we were presented with. The portion was huge and my colleague was able to pick around the meat, so there was no real issue. She also ordered the enchiladas which she really enjoyed. Big plates of hearty Mexican food in a buzzing atmosphere amongst an eclectic mix of American memorabilia.
