Warm and welcoming

Great place to stay. Sarah at reception is a delight to deal with. Our room wasnt ready on arrival and Sarah was quick to sort it and even gave a complimentary voucher for the delay. Rooms are big and the shower is great. Everything on Hamilton is geared to make your stay welcoming. Highly recoomend it 😆

Great view, large room but a bit dated.

The view from the balcony looking onto Catseye beach is just amazing, I never got tired of sitting out there. The room and bathroom was very large and there was ample room for my wife, toddler, and 10 month old.  The room is pretty dated though, it’s in need of a refresh but was comfortable enough.  Cost per night is not ‘cheap’ for what you get and you can get better accommodation for the money overseas.  Having said all that, the room is only a portion of the experience and Hamilton Island offers a lot to keep everyone entertained from the various pools, included water sport activities, and all the restaurants on offer.  Importantly, everything is within walking distance from the Reef View Hotel.  There is also a free shuttle bus that stops at reception making it even more convenient should you want to head to the Marina which is also a manageable walk.

Great service

My Wife and I have our honeymoon at the Reef View Hotel and stayed in a suite on the 19th floor. Fantastic service from the time we were picked up from the airport till we were dropped off. The staff were very attentive and the food is to a very high standard at all the restaurants that we visited including the very diverse buffet breakfast. Am recommending this hotel to all our friends and plan to go back in August 2016 to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.

Fantastic hotel!

We came for our second visit to Reef View hotel in April 2015 after visiting in March 2012.

Myself and my two teenage daughters enjoyed it immensely, our room was great with the beautiful coral ocean view, the staff and service were fantastic and helpful, and the Pool terrace restaurant still has the best buffet breakfast I have had anywhere!
We aim to come back hopefully July 2016 for another relaxing holiday.

Great Family Friendly Hotel

This was our first trip to Hamilton Island and we loved every bit of it. I found the Reef View Hotel to represent great value. We stayed in a family room and it was better than I expected after reading the reviews here, the only downside is you do get a bit of elevator noise but it didn't bother us. The rooms are perfectly nice and whilst the bathrooms and foyer area could do with a refurb they are perfectly adequate and clean. The family room was very spacious for 2 adults and 3 kids.

The best thing about this hotel is your room rate includes a great buffet breakfast, access to the cats, kayaks, paddle boards on Catseye and kids eat free at a number of great restaurants.

We left this hotel and flew to Hawaii for a stopover on our way back to the US mainland and I have to say, Hamilton Island beat Hawaii hands down. We will definitely be back to this hotel. In my kids words, this was the best holiday ever!
