location is quite a drive up a hillside but it is spacious accommodation. Two double beds are end to end in a long room which didn't have a window and felt like you were sleeping in a corridor, but it was no problem. there is one other bedroom which is nice and spacious. The kitchen does not have a cooker or hob, it has a single electric ring and a microwave. Personally I would have liked to have had a hob and/or an oven as I found cooking meals difficult.
Stayed for 3 nights with my elderly parents. We loved the spacious kitchen and lounge room including the 2 reclining rocker chairs. My parents said their queen size bed was very comfortable and warm. Plenty of space in the wardrobes. Good view outside their bedroom window. I stayed in the 2nd bedroom. The double bed was comfortable as well. No wardrobe although it had hanging hooks on the wall with coat hangers which was good plus a dressing table. The 1st night I slept with the sliding door closed but had to keep it open the rest of my time there as I got a slight headache from what I thought was new paint in the room which had quite strong oudor with the door closed as there is no windows in the 2nd bedroom.
The bathroom which looked recently renovated was spacious and very clean with a very large shower. There is ample storage space in the bathroom although it needs hanging hooks on the door or walls for your clothes when you have a shower plus one more towel rail, apart from that , it was really good. Oh, the exhaust fan does not get rid of the steam when showering.
Loved the games room although we didn't really use it but extremely spacious. The kitchen contained most things you need to be self efficient with the large fridge/ freezer. We were very impressed with all the hard work the owners have gone to providing holidaying maps, books and info on Hobart and surrounds that are on a book shelf in the lounge room, well done David !!! The owners are friendly and we would recommend LenaWay Hobart to anyone visiting Hobart. Close to shops, food take away's etc. The accommodation was very clean, fresh and spacious and well worth the money. I would stay there again if I ever returned to Hobart.
An excellent place to stay in a quite area of Hobart and yet close to all the tourist spots. It has just been renovated and is well appointed with comfy furniture and high quality utensils etc. The games room will be a great addition when it is completed. It would be the most affordable accom. close to Hobart.
My husband and two children have just spent 4 + weeks at LenahWay. The location is very convenient, the accommodation, clean, comfortable and warm in spite if the snow on the mountain. Access and parking was great. The shared laundry facilities worked well. The hosts Dave and Yvonne were very helpful and unobtrusive. we highly recommend the property for anyone who wants to be self sufficient, in a convenient location with all the space and facilities required to be comfortable.
Many thanks to Dave and Yvonne
The accommodation is clean and spacious. The off street parking is wonderful. David was very helpful.
