It is easy to be put off by the ambiance as it is not a glamorous eating place, but that helps them to keep down the costs.
This is the second time I tried a Ramen, First time, it was in Japan a few years ago. I had distinct memories of having enjoyed that Ramen dish, which was the reason enough to try another one.
I requested for a mid-spicy dish, which turned out to be a little too spicy but was manageable. A member of our party requested for a spicy dish, which turned out to be too spicy. He had to leave it mid way. I enjoyed the soup in my Ramen but could not manage to finish the noodles. Another member ordered a Chicken rice dish which was quite tasty.
I found this Japanese dish much better in Japan than in Melbourne. But I am game enough to try another Ramen elsewhere.
