If you just want a place to spend a few nights here is fine. Things were reasonably clean and organised. There is a free breakfast - nothing fancy but it's always nice to have something available. It was a little bit noisy and there was a fair bit of light that came through into the room from the street at night. It's pretty well located.

Stayed for 3 nights 4 days here over New Years in a 4 bed dorm. Friendly staff, room was clean, bathrooms were fine. The location's really central to everything - transport, shops, restaurants.. especially with the price point.

Only did their free brekky once (served between 7-9am), usually woke up after the finishing time. Brekkys simple - toast and cereal, but you're in Melbourne - big coffee culture & awesome food.. I'd recommend doing that.

Wifi was fast and reliable, even in the room (level 2). Limited to 500mb/day with the option of purchasing more.

Would happily book again on my next trip to Melbourne.

The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. But it's very loud outside.
There are only three toilets and showers per floor.

It has a small kitchen and common area. Also it has nice events like free pasta on Thursday. Breakfast is very short from 7 to 9 AM and plain.
Great location near Southern Cross.
Fast Wifi but it's limited 500MB per day.

Well located in the CBD area and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and easy to get to with the good transport system. The free breakfast and coffee all day is also a bonus. However my room and it seems like most of the other rooms had a very noisy ventilation system which never switched off. The hallway and toilets were also pretty dirty, which seems like a problem that could easily have been solved.

A lot of friendly people & located in the party area of Melbourne (so don't expect a lot of sleep). It's a 10 minute walk from Southern Cross station, 10 minute walk from Queen Vic market so the location is perfect. But I also think that's one of the only reasons why you should pay that much money. Our room wasn't cleaned before we got in (dirty stuff under the bed, band aids stuck on the frame, fresh stains on the wall) was really dirty.
