Randomly walked in on a Friday and were told pleasantly, give me your number and we will text you in twenty minutes when there is free space. Perfect off we four went for a drink. Received text, wandered back, you will not be disappointed.
From the devine lotus root chips to the goat shoulder, everything was amazing. The service top notch also.
We had other great food, the thai duck was to die for. The BBQ calamari the friends liked a lot. The fish of the day and ofcourse rice and flatbread! Totally recommend.

We were fans of RPS in Fitzroy until the food standard fell away over the last 12 months, so we were keen to see how it's big sister in the CBD stacked up. Overall, it's better. The flavour balance is back to what it should be, and you can make bookings. The two wafer dishes we had were excellent (whipped cod roe and salmon roe, and fresh swimmer crab). The duck salad was OK, and the lobster rolls mainly tasted of fried batter. The Balinese suckling pig was a disappointment-the meat dry and the jackfruit salad tasteless, while the crackling (a 20 cent piece sized morsel) was tiny and difficult to share. However, there were some other things on the menu we'd like to come back and try.

Some of my pet hates about the other members of the RPS family appear here too. The stools are uncomfortable, designed to encourage you to eat and move on. And setting a table only with chopsticks is ridiculous given the menu items on offer.

Like a previous reviewer, I also found the staff cadging for tips at the end of the meal a significant turn off.

The good, an array of modern unique Asian dishes differing in size so you can build your tasting experience, The Bali suckling pig was so delicious it deserved a second helping,

The bad, it was an awkward start as we were ignored so we sat ourselves down. Then it went to the other extreme when glasses and plates were cleared before we had finished, and then was cheekily asked for a tip at the end.

Been here twice on this occasion for dinner the waitress was so very helpful friendly and professional sorry can’t remember her name but she is from New Zealand
We tried the duck pancakes, the goat, the lamb and some sides all of which were amazing great flavours nothing you would get just anywhere else,
Come for the service stay for the food and relaxed comfortable experience

This Asian Fusion restaurant was recommended to us and was a little hard to find but well worth it! Located in Hardware Lane, but away from the bustling busy side, it has a communal atmosphere with many share tables and small and large share plates. We had the Thai style chicken wings, twice cooked duck leg and slow roasted goat shoulder in a Tamarind sauce with a side Roti. Oh my God! The goat was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The others were really good too. I can see why this place was highly recommended. Seek it out - it’s worth the find.
