The second visit at Spice Temple. We were here about a year ago and the memory of the food was still loud and yummy. We Started the night with tuna tartare, then followed the king prawn wontons. Plump and juicy prawns in a black vinegar dressing. We both can handle spicy food and didn't really have any problems ordering hot food. It is a Chinese restaurant that specialises in spicy food after all. We finished the night with hot and numbing crispy duck which we had with Asian greens. The servings are generous for a fine dining restaurant. A must to visit in Melbourne!

Really great and extremely tasty food here. I particularly like the duck and fish. Great cocktail and wine list. Service can sometimes be slow when it’s busy

Great food, dumplings were awesome, same with the kung pow chicken.

A little pricey and the service was a little hit and miss, but food was that good, it didn't matter.

For the price of upmarket Chinese I was expecting the decor to be a little more classy than chipped timber tables and non matching chopsticks.

Looking past this the food was definitely spicy and tasty although nothing too fancy or too adventurous that you would rush back with excitement.

Great table location allowed for a bit of people watching , easy to hold a conversations with a large group and the staff did their job, although slow at serving drinks and clearing tables.

Plenty of other great Asian options around Melbourne with far greater value for money as this is also part of the Casino complex so expect higher prices.

I'm sure they love the Corporate dollar.

Warm and welcoming staff. Sensibly short menu with every option covered. Lip numbing dry fried wagyu beef - very lip, tongue and whole mouth numbing. Not in a chilli way but in a building, tingling and flesh numbing Szechuan pepper kind of way. Old mates tofu was the best he had ever eaten and probably mine too, given I have had it only twice . The Maibo style beef short rib was fatty and sublime. Washed down with a Torbreck GSM. First class.
