A very cute place to take pictures at. And don't worry about people blocking your photos. Cause usually people queue up and wait for their turns unless they are just mean lol
But definitely go and check this out if you have time. Very Instagram worthy pictures if you ask me :)

The famous Blue Boat Shed was quite busy when I arrived, as stated above mainly tourists - but everyone was having a blast taking happy snaps out the front on the jetty. I really wanted to try and shoot this location using a different post-processing method to really capture the leading lines of the jetty, simulating the pathway to the unknown (the closed white door).

Can't wait to head back down to this place when there is some clouds and colourful sunset!!

Crawley Edge Boatshed, is a Perth icon, especially with Asian visitors. This unbelievably simple yet beautiful blue boatshed has a timber boardwalk linked to the banks of Matilda Bay on the Swan River. A plaque at the boardwalk says that this boatshed was built some time in the 1930's. Ownership changed several times until it was restored in 2004 and re-launched by triple world solo-circumnavigator Jon Sanders and single solo-circumnavigator David Dicks. Today, the wonderful thing here is that 73, Crawley Edge Boatshed visitors queue patiently to take selfies and portraits with this Queen on the Swan. I took turns with visitors from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, India, Japanese, Hong Kong and many from China.

I drive by here a few time a year so often get to see the latest thing the UWA students have done to the statue in front of the boat shed - always good for a smirk. The shed itself is photogenic especially in foggy or dark cloudy weather. I've never even set foot on the walkway. But if you love photography you will find a photo there somewhere.

The view is very beautiful. Seeing the blue lake meets the blue house under the blue sky is very fascinating. It's a good place for picture. But besides that, nothing much you can do here. Just for picture, that's all
