My partner booked a club room as a surprise for us. Was very disappointed to hear the room was not clean when he arrived with suspicious hairs in the sink/ shower. No bath was provided and the room was quite basic. Disappointing by international standards and due to the price and more a 4 star hotel. Positives was the service and buffet breakfast at the cafe.

Dear Grizzlys,
We appreciate you taking the time to post feedback on your stay at the hotel. It’s disappointing, yet understandable to hear that your personal experience at the hotel was less than satisfactory. Please be advised that the issues you noted have been addressed with management. Our Regency Club rooms have recently undergone refurbishments which included a new fit out of the bathroom where the bath was removed to provide guests with a larger shower and a more spacious bathroom overall. Having said that, majority of our other rooms still have baths. Feel free to highlight your preference for a room with a bath on your next visit so we can add this to your profile and allocate a room accordingly. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the buffet breakfast and had a positive experience with the hotel’s service. We hope to welcome you back to Hyatt again in the not too distant future.
Regards,
Adam Myott,

Stayed at the Hyatt Perth for 3 nights with my husband, whilst attending a wedding. I could not fault the hotel nor the service and breakfast served in the Cafe was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the CBD. It was spotlessly clean and very quiet. I also want to add that the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.

This is the second time we have stayed at the perth hyatt as a family with two young sons and we had a lovely time again. We spent more of our time by the pool this time as the weather was much better. It was hot but there were lots of shaded areas to sit by around the pool. Our room was amazing, for some reason because my two sons needed a bed rather than a bed and cot like last time we were put into this huge room which to me was like a suite, it had a separate bedroom and bathroom and then a separate large living area where my two sons had their rollaway beds put, there were two desk areas, another toilet and a walk in wardrobe area. That room was a deluxe double, i'll definitely be booking that next time! and also had part views of the river. I had also joined up to the hyatt gold passport for free before booking to save points, maybe this made a difference? Nothing is too much bother for the staff and they are very friendly towards the children. Our breakfast was lovely, lots to chose from and the staff brought over a babychinno each for the boys. We look forward to our next stay.

Room Tip: double deluxe

Dear RACH3884
Thank you for posting your comments regarding your stay at Hyatt and it’s pleasing to know you were well looked after during your time with us. We are fortunate to be able to offer guests the most spacious lead in rooms of all 5 star hotels in the CBD. It’s also great to hear you enjoyed the use of the hotel’s pool and leisure area. This has been completely refurbished and it’s nice to know its being well used by guests. We have noticed a steep increase in interest from our leisure guests seeking a relaxing, weekend destination in Perth’s CBD. We are pleased that you joined our Gold Passport program; this is a fantastic way for guests to be rewarded with a variety of benefits as they continue to stay at Hyatt. We hope you left Hyatt with some great memories and we look forward to welcoming you back one day soon.
Regards,

We found Hyatt a nice hotel, and had a great experience after staying 6 nights recently. After reading many reviews on this website, and seeking an outdoor pool, it was decided the Hyatt would be a good choice.

After arriving on a late flight from Melbourne, it was with great pleasure we were offered a room upgrade which included club lounge access from Meg - who was very friendly and helpful. We were most impressed with the top floor room. And we made great use of the club lounge. There was a large selection of continental breakfast foods to enjoy.

The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and bathrooms spotless. The room was very silent and the king bed and fluffy pillows extremely comfy. There were nice views to the river.

We queried if our air con was working correctly after the first night, as it seemed to be putting little air out, regardless of speed, and the front desk staff were most helpful sending a technician whilst we did our day activities, which seemed to improve the air con slightly. We were even thrilled that housekeeping had left the air con on one day and it was a joy returning to a cooled room.

The photos of the pool do not do the pool any justice. It was a much nicer pool and the grassed area, not as tacky looking as in the photos, with lovely shaded areas to lay on a deck. A very deep pool at all ends (the shallow end 1.2m, the deep almost 3metres) - it caused much laughter amongst adults, and kids seemed to enjoy splashing on the steps or hanging off the edges. But for most of the time, the pool was quiet and empty, which was most relaxing.

Some may not enjoy the location of the hotel. But we found it ok to access. Approx 15-20mins walk to Perth station, and a lovely 15minute walk to the jetty. The hotel staff were most attentive opening taxi doors whenever we arrived in a taxi from a day trip. It was a nice change of pace

I would recommend this hotel again, as long as you don't mind the 15minute walk to central Perth. The rooms were always spotless, the club lounge a lovely treat (especially as we were celebrating a birthday) and the hotel staff friendly and most helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for the river view rooms

Dear natsla 23,
Thanks for taking the time to post your detailed feedback and thoughts on your stay at Hyatt. It’s pleasing to hear that you enjoyed your six night stay and were able to experience many of the hotel’s facilities, including the Club Lounge and the newly refurbished poolside area. For any future visits to Perth, you may be interested to know that we offer a free shuttle service every weekday morning for guests heading to the city. Also, the TransPerth buses are free to use within Perth CBD and leave from right outside the hotel. We hope to see you again one day in the not too distant future.

A good place to stay if on a business trip. Nice clean large rooms with all the facilities you would expect. I was on the 4th floor, and had a nice quiet stay.

I found all staff friendly and helpful.

Car parking is confusing when you first arrive, and you would have thought it could be better 'explained' somehow...but once you know, it's fine...

Finding your way around to the different eating facilities is not as easy as it should be due to subtle/discrete signage...maybe improving the welcome book and ensuring it's placed on the table in the room rather than 'hidden' under a bedside table would improve this?

The Cafe was good for both food and service, but expensive...and unlike another reviewer, my steak was excellent!

Joe's Oriental Diner was excellent in all regards, and good value I thought.

La Strada was my choice for breakfast, as I could simply grab a nice cup of coffee and croissant at a very reasonable price.

Dear Paul R,
We appreciate you posting your feedback on your recent stay at Hyatt and it is great to hear that you enjoyed your time at our hotel and found the staff friendly and helpful. In regards to signage around the car park and food and beverage outlets, I’d like to assure you that we are currently in the process of upgrading all the signs around the hotel and the areas you noted are part of that project. It is however, great to hear you enjoyed both Cafe and Joe’s – they are both very unique in their offerings and it’s fantastic that you could try both of these restaurants.
