We went to the buffet at this restaurant as we saw it was always packed and it was very underwhelming. While there was a good selection of curries, they were very plain and not spicy. Which I get as you are trying to cater to everyone's taste buds. Also the chef that does the naan bread is very unfriendly and stingy on the naan bread! From that horrible interaction I won't be coming here again.

You have to order at the counter and there is virtually no ambiance in the dining room but when the server brought out the food, our eyeballs were rolling at how delicious everything was. One of the dishes we had was one of the restaurant’s specialties from Hyderabad and was a rich, complex gravy laden with big chunks of smoky roasted chicken. I wish I could remember the name! We ended up taking half the food home because we couldn’t finish all of it and enjoyed the leftovers as my guilty pleasure for the next couple of days.

The owner was the one who helped with our food choices and was such a delightful friendly guy and clearly proud of the variety of authentic food he had on offer from different regions on India.

We were there just after opening around 5pm on a Sunday evening and the seats quickly filled up and there was a line up at the door by 5:45pm, so get there early!

Only downside to me was that the mango lassi was served in a plastic domed cup with a (*gasp*) plastic straw, which was totally unnecessary and wasteful packaging for dining in. Otherwise everything else was all G!!

Will definitely go back!!

Please note the followings;
1. This restaurant don't do bookings or reservation
2. Please ensure you are in the right restaurant. You can't buy takeaway from the restaurant.
3. There is a separate takeaway store and buffet store.

Was there for dinner on Saturday evening at the restaurant. The place was very busy. However we manage to secure seats for 3 at 6pm.
We were given menus to read and told to place order as CBD paid at the counter.

Great selection of foods and drinks. Service is pretty quick. Portions were quite decent.

You can also ask for box to takeaway your leftover foods if you can't finish.

Parking could be a bit of a challenge especially on the weekend.

This place was incredibly packed when we arrived. We got told that they don’t accept bookings which is a pain. We got there and were told the next available table will be 20 mins away so we gave them our details and went away. We got a call 5 mins later saying that the table was ready. We got there and took a seat. So this place doesn’t serve alcohol. We got a few dishes and nothing really stood out to me flavour wise. They have a huge variety which is great but the food isn’t amazing.

My uncle came from Sydney and he loves Indian food, he read up on this place while he was traveling. So we took him for lunch with few extra friends. We were a group of 16, everyone had nothing but good things to say about the food.
There was few things that annoyed us is that there’s no one that comes to take your order so we had to get someone of our group to go and order food for us.
They definitely don’t cater for large groups, we were cramped in like sardines.
We were also told to leave by 15:15 we only had a 1hr15mins sitting.
The service was crap, but the food was really good.

I would recommend to others
And likely to go back.
