I stayed at the Quadrant Hotel with my son and daughter on the last night of our trip to New Zealand. It was booked as part of a package so I don't know what the exact price was. As we only stayed for one night, with an early start, we didn't get to use all the facilities.
On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted warmly and efficiently by staff and our cat was whisked away to the off-site parking (not free). There is on street parking near the hotel, but I didn't check if there were any restrictions.
Our room was a fantastic suite on the 16th or 17th floor, with access to one of balconies from both the bedrooms and the living room (balconies not advisable for those who don't like heights!). There was a reasonable size kitchen. There was dishwasher, and even a washing machine! However, we decided to self cater, but on returning to our room after stocking up on provisions at a nearby supermarket, we discovered that the kitchen only had one small saucepan - not very impressive for a decent quality hotel.
There is a small gym, which my son used, but wasn't impressed with. (However, he can be a bit picky about gyms, so it's probably fine!)
Overall, this is a good hotel, and has the added bonus of apartment facilities. I would definitely stay again. Recommended.More
